- Procedural map: You can transition from one city to another via a ferry. So your killer could be from a nearby city and you track them down to another city.
- Multiplayer: Along with 1 is a giant multiplayer server system where you can have your city open to other detectives to join in and track down their killer. Maybe have a case linked between that requires both players working together.
- Customization of Detective: Only option so far is Gender and skin color, what about picking a background that gives you a trait or able to change your clothes, hair, etc.
- A underwater city dome: A city entirely under water with the only above ground being a dock, and a multi level city that rich are closer to water and poor are at the bottom etc.
- A story generating scenario: For those who want a linear story, you pick a city, and a background and a type of killer you're wanting. The AI creates a story based off of what you select and branching dialogue and plot twists.

- A ferry system would def be something I like. For that tho I think the way the game saves be capable to save bigger amounts of data and maybe limit it to three cities you can travel between.
I can imagine a new job, the farier who keeps dara of people traveling.
People can also have tickets in their purse, at home or in their trash can if they traveled by fary.

Multiplayer can be very hard to implement. For that you need player models and such. I csn see it gappening one day, but not at release.

This is something I dearly miss. It adds in to the rp aspect and makes your directive more individual.
Choosing things like hair cut and color, eye color, build, size to smaller bits like birthday and blood type can really make you character unique.

This is something I don't see at all. The technology is not there for it and it would be too much imo.
-
That could be possible, but needs a really good AI. Maybe some day, but not soon.
- Very interesting idea. I would be curious how this would work when you're in another city. Does time just stop in your city? If not, how does the game keep up with even more citizens? I like it but it sounds too resource heavy.
- I agree but again, I feel as though the game is running very high on resources. Perhaps after some optimisation has occurred?
- Yes please. Your background is already established as a former detective but I could see hobbies or something coming in here.
- You mean BioShock?
- No opinion here, doesn't sound like my jam but to each their own.
The city that you enter is another players city that allows others to visit, so the resources depends on them (but would be same size as yours) and yours would run in the background and be a random time when you return.
Optimisation would help things run smoother not just in MP but singleplayer as well.
Mainly was thinking of clothes and appearance with hobbies being a secondary one.
Didn't even think of bioshock when I posted this but i can see the comparison. Only difference would be no Big Daddies or Little Sisters (But i could see a easter egg in that tho)
Its not for everyone but for those who want a linear story to follow, you can still go sandbox but it'd be for those who want a story to follow.
I love the idea of being able to visit another city even if it’s not someone else’s and it’s just procedurally generated AI again. I mean, you can see it from the pier. It looks so close.
It does, Imagine being able to go to it and its a whole different city, or even a massive procedural one. the only areas loaded are wahts you seen so far.
I feel neutral about the other suggestions but definitely a big plus to local multiplayer. Would be super fun to crack a case with some friends or with my husband
