#Search Warrants

only at social credit 4+ costs ~ 1000-10,000 crows depending on owner earnings. And you need some form of evidence for probable cause
why would you want to limit a more legal course of action to a higher level? I would just make it appropriately challenging to get a warrant.
I just think its easier to use the same evidence for the case as the warrant so using a higher social level just gets around using evidence like camera footage of them near during the time of murder
Maybe I’m a downer on this one I love the idea don’t get me wrong.
But the warrant would cost more than you get for solving the crime.
Also this would just make catching the killer before he kills again harder and make cases go on longer. Not to mention even if it was added it would remain faster to break in as per usual and cheaper/more profitable because let’s be honest we all rob the houses we search.
I think this would make an amazing mod but not so much an amazing part of the base game
lol I smoke too much, I didn'y even think about that part. Maybe there can be a cleanup crew that goes to the scene so theres incentive to get there either early' before the murder is even discovered which I think the game should be more about.
Keep in mind that the overwhelming majority of people will let you in if you pay 200 creds or less, and doing that is much easier because you need no evidence and don't have to visit city hall. With the right upgrade it is almost always free. A guest pass for a public area only ever costs (IIRC) 30 creds, too. So it needs to be balanced against those numbers.
I think in a overhaul mod or a immersion mod this would fit amazingly
In the “story” mission shadows of doubt the crime scene got cleared out and cleaned after a certain amount of time I’m not sure if that was programmed or a big sense I’ve only done it once. But seeing that system implemented back into the main game would be pretty cool
I'm also kind of interested in it for an immersive sense, also i don't know if it should cost much if anything, but I do think it should require you to submit some appropriate information to prove you should get one.
