Ok this suggestion may sound dumb in the current state of the game but:
If assaults become crimes we can investigate, what if the victim says they retaliated and knocked some teeth out
Either you could find the teeth at the site of the assault, and match the types to people who are missing teeth (e.g incisor matched to a guy missing front teeth), and match color of teeth (some people might have yellower teeth than others) - gives you another lead to go on

Although I don’t really know why the player would want to knock teeth out

teeth could be used as evidence. maybe add dental records, although that might require also adding a dentist

They could even show up at a murder. For example if there was a struggle and the victim could have knocked one of the killers teeth out.
