Right now since they get angry no matter what it makes doing actual health inspections with the inspector sync disks very hard.
#When you announce that you are the health inspector the staff should not care if you bring a camera.

I could be wrong about this, but I don't think the intention of those sync disks is to give you any authority, but is simply a cheeky name for what it does since you take pictures of bathrooms or kitchens and get rewarded based on how dirty they are.
If they get mad about the camera even after you pay for the guest pass via dialog AND have the sync disk though, I'd agree completely.
It's kind of weird normal people get mad at cameras anyhow.

Yeah, I think that's what the OP is suggesting, and it makes sense imo
Then again, with the state most of these kitchens are in, I wouldn't want a health inspector taking a picture of them regardless

Perhaps, but normal people getting mad at cameras in general seems like a weird thing. The flip side to this issue I think is that the only way to really do the health inspector restaurant version is to break in when they are closed, which is way too much work. Just go into bathrooms where you aren't trespassing.
