Welcome to the Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration, a Mexican tradition to pay respects to friends and family who have passed away.
Ofrendas are traditional Mexican altars decorated for this celebration to honor deceased loved ones. During this event, you'll encounter alebrijes and pokémon with quests as you catch pokémon. Alebrijes are colorful, whimsical spirit animals believed to connect the living and spirit realms.
As you complete their quests, you'll be rewarded with pokécoins, Nicho Boxes and items to decorate your ofrendas with, and as you complete ofrendas, you'll receive more Nicho Boxes that contain various gifts!
