bearly anyone vc
many servers do have that though
to signal if someone is not on the computer for over 5 mins or smth
there is a pretty decent group almost always talking tho
you don't go to one, that's not how it works, it's designed by discord, the afk channel will drag anyone who's inactive in any of the vcs, and you get to decide the time from the server settings, serving in reducing the clutter in some of the vcs, and notifying afk users that they're still in a vc, another property of this is that discord also makes this vc deafen and mute everyone in it, this helps if someone left their mic open and their dog starts barking or we can start hearing someone in their background, instead of muting them, they get automatically moved in 5m (or the time set by the mods)
I'm sorry what?
me ace ali and 4 other people join the art vc occasionally and stay there for hours, most of the time other people end joining and sometimes the voice chat ends up having 9+ people
and also jixo and some other guys join the gaming vc from time to time
I'd vcs are used very often
it takes two clicks, but doesn't actually contribute anything really. usually if somebody has their mic on, but isnt making much noise it's for a reason
it doesn't really sound like a bad idea i guess
i wouldn't be directly opposed, but it's kinda useless
also would it still prompt you if you're in a different tab? genuine question
it's not life changing, but it contributes enough when needed, when the vc gets messy and cluttered with 15+ and 7 of them are deafened and muted for 2 hours
fair enough
wdym by tab?
are you talking about phone discord?
on your pc?
like, if i was talking with brody while playing overwatch 2
yes
it only moves you when you're deaf for the time chosen by mods, and not streaming or typing or moving your mouse on discord, or have a really consistent static for that time and discord will tell if you're afk, or if you're not speaking at all or doing anything
no it won't move you obv, it can tell that you're afk
i see
