#Since the map will be never ending will

Maybe after getting one from a cartographer
Will it show the entire map or just the map that that person has discovered?
We know so little 😂
I think I remember someone saying there will be coordinates. I think
if a player makes a map does it update as the terrain changes (i.e. does it capture new towns) or do you need to get new maps all the time?
will there be like coordinates or a map or something so you can find your home easily again and not get lost maybe if you went too far?
Yes! BitCraft will have a world map that you will uncover as you explore the world. There is a coordinate system in the game as well, with markers on the map. Your home will always be marked for you.
I never saw that one, my bad
How does a map prevent immersion? 🥴 I’m personally not a fan of being lost all the time.
It was a joke
Ah-hah.
The Cairn Stones are likely to be the markers, too, and they’ll require a bit of work to get them set up.
“Cairn Stone. It’s more than just piling up rocks—it’s leaving a visible note for others to see, and to mark on their maps, enabling them to find it again afterwards.”
Like those rock stacks that some people used thousands of years ago?
Guys idk if you wanna hear it, but I've had a long standing theory
That I would like to share
We're here anyways
They’re historically used as monuments, burial sites, navigational aids (by land or sea), or ceremonial grounds depending on the culture. They showed a picture of ‘em on Twitter. It’s where the text is from.
Yes that
And.... you know the towers that open up regions in Zelda: Breath of the wild
No but go on
Well.... in BotW the map is sectioned between these regions that you have to open up on the map
I was thinking...
Since the map expands with new player counts
What if
Every.... say.... 500,000 chunks there is a nee spire
To put it in perspective
Say the USA has one spire, Canada has one spire, Africa has one spire, ect ect
But everywhere in between you have to walk
To avoid missing out on a hard worked world
SO
What if these towers are similar to BotW in the aspect that we can teleport from region to region
But they are very far apart
Cause having to WALK from region to region over and over would take Literal days
Requiring manually transversing the world the first time to unlock access between them?
So having a fast way to get across the world without having it be as common as town to town
Interesting theory
Yes, but they have beacons so you can see where they are
So when a new region opens up, everyone will know to go there to open up the new region
It could be that way. 🤷♂️
That it my beacon spire theory
