how do you know?
is there protection against griefing and raiding or is that style of play expected?
We do not endorse or allow intentional grief play. No one should be able to destroy your farm or take your items if you don't want them to. BitCraft is not focused on PvP so many traditional methods of being a pest to other players will not be available. Should any game mechanic turn out to be abused with the goal of spoiling the fun for other players, we will take appropriate actions.
This does not mean there will be no competition in BitCraft, just that direct griefing is not allowed. The details of how you can achieve a grief-free environment in a sandbox world are really important, so we'll likely do a longer form game design post on this topic.
The devs have specifically said there will be no PvP in the game. There won't be any griefing, nor will you be able to loot another's chests.

Yes, and this, this is a dev answer specifically about saying no to griefing
I feel like there are soooo many games that cater to pvp and allow players to grief already, and very few online games that just let you explore and enjoy the game. So the fact that they are making this choice is absolutely amazing.
True, but this game is more larger community focused rather than just an at most 6 squad
It will most likely be economical wars via territory, supply, and trade rather then actual pvp
There’s prolly still gonna be pvp but I hope it’s restricted to colosseums and the wilderness
Hmmm
I joined the server because the game had hunting lol
I hope there will be some cool beasts
I was sold because it looked stunning, it's open world, and it had In game fishing
There shall be boar
🐗
🐗 🐗
I hope so too, I have never been into pvp too much, and usually like to do my own thing with friends. I’ve had entire games ruined by people just destroying me while I’m just running around trying to enjoy or figure out a game.
Understandable Dilemma
I too am not a fan of pvp or violent games. I thrive off of peaceful chill games such as this
a little bit of competition never hurts
looks at level in dnd
That’s a far gone lie and you know it
Jk
I honestly prefer chill games too, but I do enjoy some violent games too, it’s just hard to get into some because some people take it too far. They aren’t trying to have a competition they are just trying to be mean for fun.
Indeed
perma-death mechanic would be cool
Damn
since this is kind of a survival game
That would be frustrating 😫
no perma-death = no one cares about death
People will prolly still care about death
but losing your inventory would be good too
Dunno
lol
Lmao
