I would want to be able to barter
Herbs/making potions
merchant
adventurer
what kinds of things would infrastructure do?
I wonder if charisma is a skill? are there npcs in player cities or where would that play in
suppose the more levels you get, the better buildings you can make? idk
not sure how this game is going to work
Ruler of a empire to organize different tasks and jobs
Same
Diplomat Skill that would increase your nation's "weight/output", it would scale in proportion with the amount of citizens you have.
It'd be cool to be an adventurer, or set up trading outposts
professions should just be up to the player for their play style, not something you have to choose directly in a menu, but choose by crafting certain tools etc
seems more like something more tied to the actual human playing less so there character in game
i think you can come up with a better name than infrastructure tho, perhaps call it builder or architect
that would be interesting
Yeah but could be a profession that gives you like diplomatic skills to increase the size of your empire or something
but how would that affect the game if the people you're interacting with are other players?
i agree with manual
you might enjoy the game Neptune's Pride
you don't really need a skill for emperor, that's the beauty of it. Let nations rise and fall under their own ineptitude.
it really comes down to what role npcs play in the game which is something we don't know yet
Yeah I was going to say it really depends on the game
And how much npc connection there is
bail them out with tax money and create a bigger bubble
i've always wanted to be a blacksmith that can forge all these cool weapons for people
Animal taming
manipulation

no

how would you ever implement that.. isnt that like charisma/speech in other games?
i dont really know
but where theres political ladders theres manipulation
I've always liked the idea of being a ”runecrafter”. It's essentially the same as enchanting, just implemented specifically with the 'carving of runes' and using mystical ingredients and or mana.
And able to be implemented on all sorts of surfaces, not just equipment but buildings walls and even the ground.
Forgot this thread existed
Me too lol
