remove bank glitch
remove character teleport with items ( to teleport has to be empty ) -> dont ruin economy of every region
remove house teleport trought regions ( but be able to have 1 house each region) -> not ruin economy of every region
add speed bonus on roads -> more roads -> more carts that are moved
add speed bonus on sailing --> related to levels of merchants so people have an opportunity to choose to move stuff from regions by sailing ( cant take us ages but even less )
add boat slots scaling with merchant skill to encourage people to raise merchants to move items long distances
add market history

Personally i dont want any type of teleport with items it ruin economy think about it .

Edit.
must be added recovery chest for settlements ( if settlement blow up all stuff dropped on ground)
must be added unstuck buttom if a player got stuck (move char bit away from where it got stuck) as teleport back with items would not work

If they change the way banks and marketplaces work to eliminate free transport, what happens to items offered for sale in some random market that gets nuked? Will they all drop on the ground? Go into the void? Will we have remote recovery chests cluttering up the landscape (yuk)?

If they remove tp home (with items) and folks get stuck on a rock embedded in the terrain or otherwise stuck and unable to use one of the workarounds, will they be able to keep up with the support tickets? Imagine having to drop a cache of traveler's fruits just to be able to get back to playing.

Speed bonuses sound good, I think if we can ever pull carts with steeds it will be 🔥

Houses can only be teleported between regions if they're empty

#

that's already in the game

...what would be the difference in changing it?

#

it already doesn't allow item transport

give people chance to have houses on every region

#

house has to be decorated and you know stuff inside, would be cool to have 1 every region with different stuff inside, as we cant move with stuff inside ^

Doesn't having a house in a settlement give that settlement passive income? With multiple houses per region it would be possible to have people from other regions come "live" in your shanty town for free income.

Also what happens if the game transitions to a true single world instead of discrete separate regions that just happen to talk to each other?

I totally understand those who disagree with the teleport thing, but guys, it's like you're on drugs, once you remove them, life is better :>

barren vale
# mellow onyx I agree entirely, although I like using teleport, it heavily disincentivizes tra...

it heavily disincetivizes travel yes, but thats not the main issue about it, it litterally ruin economys, saw people do not buy to me because it was "so expensive" not many coins higher of avg on market, they pref buy cheaper by buying on another region, if was way difficult buy from other regions ( Im not saying you cant buy from other regions) but it needs to take time , you cant teleport empty and buy a full inventory and WITH JUST 1 teleport poiint you came back .. this has no sense at all

#

i can accept that now its like that because, whole travel system its crazy, but we need to think long term.

Home teleport just needs to have a cost like every other teleport, requiring an empty inventory to go home would be annoying

i mean as i understood "how devs wanted to make the game" its like some settlements have to farm certain stuff that is around it , and then trade it to some other settlement , teleport just break this chain

That's a fair statement, but from that perspective any fast travel breaks econ in some way.

There's clearly value in having it, but there's several very obvious cheeses being used to mass transport goods, so like rather than upend the entire game we could try regulation first

If the devs don't think regulation meets the goals I'd rather see fast travel removed entirely than some annoying half measure that disallows teleporting with a stack of food

#

That said a change like removing fast travel or even regulating it has to pair with changes to travel in general being faster and easier than it is presently.

I like the ideas about road speed bonuses (maybe construction focused?), storage growth options for merchant skill, scaling sailing speed, these all feel like additive benefits for investing in the skillset
