#Suggestion: Send Email to Players When Settlement is Low on Supplies

I think it'd be a good idea to send an email notification to owners / co-owners of a settlement when it's low on supplies. It takes a substantial time commitment to make and tend to settlements, so some type of notification before a settlement bottoms out would be great.

2 Days or 5 days?

you should even be able to turn it off

Should be able to set it up where you have the option to be pinged at 50% supplies, 30%, 10%, etc. And an option to not be pinged at all as @somber bone suggests

and then people will not see the emails and still complain about it

Can't let perfect be the enemy of good here. Some type of email notification would be better than none at all, even if the player somehow misses the email

#

If they care about their settlement, they will whitelist whatever email address BitCraft is using to send notifications so they don't miss it if it goes to Spam

yeah. I'm not sure this is really something that I'd use. But I see no harm in it. Just make it opt in but tell the player about the function at some point so it's not obtrusive but still obvious. Yes I know riding that line is easier said than done though

Something like this, but obviously way less ugly and more functional

I'd also like to add, the entire dead claim ownership system needs an entire rework, creates too much toxicity as it is in its current state

No one wants all of their hard work washed away because a bug is causing their claims to lose supplies faster than normal. This, compounded with the ability to snipe claims that are low on supplies, is not cool. Then having these claims being ransomed back to the player or sold on the market is even more lame. I'd consider all of that toxic

#

Having an option to be notified of low claim supplies takes nothing away from anyone and would even act as a guard against bugs causing faster than normal supply drain

#

Nothing wrong with a claim being up for grabs after supplies run out. However, advanced notification should be available to the player if preferred

Shocked that its not already an option in the game because if we need to supply our settlements and we can't get in the game for reasons, it would be nice to get a warning so we can ask someone apart of it to put supplies in for us.
