- decided to terraform some land cages for T3 and T4 animals but the autumn forest has T6 stuff now I had forester but when I tried paving over the thorn bushes that give T6 fiber I couldn't.
- leveled my foraging up to 60 and tried again which also failed so at this point it's a bug is the only explanation other then this is the only bush you can't pave over
#Ancient thorns in the autumn forest biome are not able to be paved over

Some fiber nodes cannot be paved over (or erased with a terraform), including T4 jute and T6 thorns. Your foraging level doesn't change this, but if you have the required level and tool simply harvest the node and then pave it!
Seems counter intuitive to make it a sometimes thing. If fiber is a thing you can pave it should be everything or nothing unless there’s an extra reason.
i believe it was worded as "low tier roots can be paved over" to prevent abuse of preventing high tier resources from spawning with pavement. i could be whrong tho
I think paving still stop spawns after they are removed it’s just the initial removal that is a problem.
As a builder it really is more a pain than anything. I think in instances where systems are abused in a manner that is harassment the system itself isn’t a problem it’s a moderation issue.
