can we know what monster enemies got their drop rates increased?
im curious if its like swamp toads/queens that were more of a challenge but pointless to slay or like regular umburas which had nearly 0 fang drop rate
@magic frost
Pretty much all monsters now have 10% -> 20% -> 30% drop rates for their rare items for corresponding to their difficulty.
For example:
Regular Umbura: 10% drop rate for Umbura Fang
Alpha Umbura: 20% drop rate for Umbura Fang
King Umbura: 30% drop rate for Umbura Fang
a lot of them used to just be 10% across the board
wowies
thx a lot guys!
so while it takes time, does this mean the T4 respawns are now back? just slowly?
Existing T4 resources shouldnt have their numbers deplete significantly anymore. One of our top priorities is now to create a way to respawn all the resources that have a very low population
so that means my region 8 T4 berry bushes poor ass still have to travel to region 1 to get those t4 berry bushes ๐ซ oh well thanks and keep up the good work! ๐
the change today was a simple fix to stop if from getting worse, we are still urgently working on a proper fix, will do our best to get it out ASAP ๐
no no im glad, you're way faster than game devs i know, love your work but please don't push yourself too hard
and now can't even travel as often because of the teleport energy regeneration nerf... there seems to be zero t4 fiber in the breezy grassland biome i'm in
well this makes sense why i spent the last 30 minutes trying to find T4 Jute to find nothing. Honestly extremely frustrating that it got this bad and its basically game breaking.
Then on top of nerfing teleport energy right at the point in time it just exacerbates the issue.
Makes progression basically impossible.
Hopefully we can see a resolution tomorrow since the dev's are pretty responsive. That being said we are going in the weekend ๐
Regarding the patch note that mentions high tier settlements being able to expand much larger for cheaper; Does this mean the supply cost is cheaper? Or that the cost increases slower?
And is there anyway we can get more details on that?
You can have more tiles for the same price (supplies). The increase is higher at higher research levels, T1-4 claims are unchanged
Ok so were at a T5 settlement, but weve kept it to 4k blocks at ~100/hr
if we increase the supply cost wont be as much as it was to increase from say 3k-4k
do i have that right?
I wanted to express my dissatisfaction with these changes regarding tree planting. As a player who plays and enjoys the game, I gather resources, explore the world, obtain a rare tree that doesn't grow in the area where I have a settlement, plant it, propagate it, cut it down, create more saplings, and devote my time to creating some kind of ecosystem. And you simply change it, not even giving me a chance or any official announcement that there will be a change to trees. Who will reimburse me for the resources and the time I spent creating dozens of saplings that I can't plant in my biome? Not to mention the fact that creating these saplings is not very profitable anyway. The only point was planting trees in my settlement that don't grow in your biome. This is just a message from a player who has really enjoyed the game so far, but for now, I've lost the desire to play. Because most of any changes should be posted somewhere in advance, or there should be a way to recover the resources.
