this bug applies after the player is a certain distance away from the claim totem.
The error occurs roughly 60 hexes from the totem.
since totem cannot be moved this is causing irreversible drain on settlement supplies

might also be experiencing this problem, I have a small chain of claim leading away from a rectangle of it. I was marking out an area that i was gonna fill and did the math wrong. Now i can't remove a single line of claim along a shoreline.

This sounds like the same problem. Check your distance from your claims marketplace (if you have one) using J to confirm if it’s occurring when player is reaching 60 hex from claim totem.

I have the same issue. Its also buggy when you're using the remove Claim button, the camera movement from AWSD locks when the selection is on top of a claim in this situation
the fact that this topic is 1 month old worries me a lot

this issue is still ongoing. submitted a bug report when i first noticed it and it still hasn't been addressed
