Might be hard to do without introducing a potential abuse-able drawback where a player, instead of pulling their cart/wagon (which is somewhat slow), will ride along on a mount and just "move" the cart/wagon forward.
That can be fixed by not allowing them doing that while mounted on another deployable
If a deployable becomes inaccessible, you can recover it to the vault. Any items will remain on the ground, of course.
If deployable can't move due to impassable terrain, than it is player's fault.
Player unstuck button, I believe, is called Home Teleport 🙂
(completely forgot about home teleport) so ill edit that out but the player shouldnt be forced to drop all their items they were collecting because there is a cart sinking into the terrain bug right now not to allow access to pull the cart. Times like that when it doesnt necessarily mean its the players fault not being able to get the cart unstuck, would be combatted with being able to move the cart
even if its only a few feet that it allows you to move it
That way you dont have to go through while harvesting to have to redeploy it and pick everything up all at once because depending on where you are that is quite annoying
think if you recover it to vault the bag of items pops out of the ground and it's still yours for 6 minutes, plenty of time to resummon the cart
Yes but having an extra step was what is annoying because even tho its an open bag and then drag and drop, I just wished it had that move ability like the town objects and other games that have carts
Also do you know how many times I would have loved that moving over terrain that I am now forced to reroute on because its too steep
this game is not mature yet to have much in the sense of quality of life, their team seems still very busy ironing out bugs
If it is a bug, I think you should ask developers to solve the bug! Introducing additional tools to circumvent bugs does not sound like a healthy developer habit 🙂
I know I have been here since Alpha so I understand that, I just am recommending a quality of life feature for them to look into
cart has a climbing step of 3, wagons and oxes 2, bring some sticks and make your own path a bit
Yeah we are currently building a road and man, having this many trees man. Imma be rolling in so much T1 planks lol
know that feeling, stockpile completly full and just grinding them down in log packs to save space
