I havent tested it with other tiers, already lost 30 molten T3 ingots verifying this bug lol.

If your inventory is full, when you claim a T3 ingot from the smelter, it disappears instead of dropping

Did they go into a nearby deployable, like a cart or trading stand or cache?

Thought that the first time, tested it by losing 20 more ingots to ensure they are just disappearing, not getting stuck under the smelter either, they are just gone

i have lost hundreds of logs due to this

i noticed it happen the first time, thought "that cant be a thing im probably just losing my mind" then it happened two more times and i paid more attention to it. If you overflow your inventory and wagon sometimes but not all the time the game will just delete whatever was meant to drop on the ground

its possible theres some sort of mechanism in place to prevent the ground from becoming littered with bags of things and its accidentally causing things to get deleted? was my first thought

it will go to deployed personal chest or cart/wagon. if none of them available, then it get dropped. If you don't have any in range, then you didn't notice and someone picked it up after it became free loot.

yeah no thats not how it happened

it went and filled up my entire wagon and inventory, got the ping that it dropped it the ground, there was no bag on the ground

I didnt even get the message about not having space. it was just poofed, wagon and invent full
