When i first tried to get a goat mount and training from Alesi, i got a message i need Level 10 for Taming (which i was 8 at the time). I get Profession Levels needed to be a certain 10th of levels for higher tier resources, but Skills? and heard its going to be the same cap of 10 in EA, so why is it needed to be maxed to even have any of the stuff the NPCs gives? I know trading with NPCs gives 1k levels, but some skills like Cooking and Slaying can be done without those trades, and Taming doesn't seem to be an option other then Hunting. So why on maxed and not Level 1, 5, and then 10? or something

10 isn't the max, that's just the cap for the demo
and the goat is just the earliest mount. there will be more at higher levels (that are better than the goat too lol)
really? what about Bird? there's a Bird Mount Training, but no Bird mount deed
and eventually all skills will be doable in different ways besides just traveler task handins
there's a bird mount yes. dunno when it'll be available
doesn't look like it'll be available at the start of EA
so is that what the Progression tab all about? will it give skills or increase drop rate of rare loot? like that?
we don't know at the moment. my guess is that it will eventually show what's available at each skill/profession level
AND WHY NO BIRD MOUNT AT START Like i want an ostrich/chocobo-like mount! Sagi bird is like the closest thing to a chocobo right?
ok so how do i say this question has been answered?
