#WASD as movement option needed :)

not sure why people always react like this...
That guy is clearly a trash human. The controls are so bad, no amount of "getting use to them" will fix that. WASD is the way to solve the issue.
Weird. I play a wide variety of games that use this exact approach to movement and input. Y'all never tried out Baulder's Gate, The Sims, Diablo, Starcraft? A shame to miss out on such a great game because you're dying on a hill that exists in your head. Games can and are successful with click-to-move.
the problem is the games youa re comparing to are top down roleplaying game where click to move is THE movement for those kind of games. Bitcraft is a 3d third person game like all other mmo's and third person games where wasd is the standard movement tools not click to move. Cant compare different games where standard controls are different to what kind of games they are.
Ok, fine... Runescape?? I mean, this isn't ground breaking technology or application. It works, embrace it and the game is fun imho
yes WASD please!
Basically the game is 2.5D and not true 3D. There was wasd testing groups but player expectations of wasd hit hard limits in a 2.5D game. Basically you can't meet the majority of wasd expectations with 2.5D
WASD
for the weak
Devs chose 2.5D game for easier playerbase scalability and performance, akin to Runescape player count scalability and game performance
performance))))))

I think they used 2.9D
there was a Q&A explaining the game design pros and cons in the last dev video, posted earlier today
2.999999D
5D with a childrens' card game on motorcylces

y'all their are so many wasd feedback threads why did you make another one 😩
maybe we should start cleaning up wasd spam and make a master thread...
Baulder's Gate, The Sims, Diablo, Starcraf - All great games I will never play for this reason. For me, its immersion. Click to move feels too disconnected from the character, and only really belongs in RTS genres or games were you controll many insignificant units.
why hold down many key long when one click do trick?
Diablo not immersive? I beg to disagree. It's also not RTS or multi unit.
