helpful hint to Floathaven landscaping department: whenever you plant a tree, it will always grow the same way; for an oak, that means bending eastward, as I recall. But you can ROTATE through six alternatives with the E key at the time of planting.So you can make tree-lined roads that look somewhat natural and not like a hall of mirrors. This will make tree-avenue-haters less likely to chop them down (if such people even exist).

Welcome to the city state of Floathaven, capital of The Free Cities of Floathaven!
Located on the Western side of the Solmere region (8), N 3483 E 5632.

We are a welcoming and tight knit group that has created a city state called Floathaven, a trading port that will be specializing in an assortment of goods which we can get our hands on and to keep advancing the settlement at a good pace whilst keeping an eye open for our city design!
If you are looking for a good chill time with some chaos whilst learning the game and/or building up a nice community together then we are just the right place!
Even if you don't feel like settling down with us you are free to come over and visit!

And to add more flavour, a little bit of history!
During EA1 we were located on the desert border of R1, where we managed to become the highest tiered settlement in our region and to run head to head on that race globally for a good long while whilst remaining a safe haven as a neutral city state.
