#Fully uninstall Bitcraft macOS

Hey, want to give you the standard warning to please be careful when poking around in your system files as you can easily screw things up. So, please proceed at your own risk. As far as what I've found this would likely be the folders/files to delete - these are only associated with the BitCraft app itself and not the launcher... that's separate. Also, I've used "yourusername" - replace that with the name of your user home folder. Good luck!
/Users/youruserfolder/Library/Logs/ClockworkLabs
/Users/youruserfolder/Library/Application/BitCraft.app
/Users/youruserfolder/Library/Application Support/com.ClockworkLabs.BitCraft
/Users/youruserfolder/Library/Caches/com.plausiblelabs.crashreporter.data
/Users/youruserfolder/Library/Preferences/com.ClockworkLabs.BitCraft.plist
/Users/youruserfolder/Library/Saved Application State/com.ClockworkLabs.BitCraft.savedState
Thanks! Worked like a charm! It'd be nice if there was a proper uninstaller for this though haha... I just got a new PC so will be moving to that, but used my Mac in the interim while waiting.
Glad that helped you! Things have always been tricky on the Mac when it comes to uninstaller. Generally I use cleaning 3rd party cleaning tools to assist - like CleanMyMacX. It has an uninstaller function where you select the app and it detects all the supporting files/folders and removes them. Comes in handy. 🙂
Also on Mac currently and I was having issues where claim icons were not showing, even though I knew this was fixed on PC the other day. The launcher was not showing any available updates to install - so I decided to start fresh and removed all the launcher and actual game files. I then re-downloaded the Launcher, moved it to the Applications folder and when I ran it it simply showed the Play button which clicking did nothing and/or showed an error message. Not quite sure how to fix this but if anyone has any tips please let me know.
Ok, I figured this out and posting in case it helps anyone. There is a .json file that is simply named "app_data.json" and thus no indication that it is related to Clockwork Labs, BitCraft or the Launcher (patchkit). It's located in your user Library folder (users/yourusername/Library/Application/app_data.json) and once deleting it and re-opening the launcher it should then show an Install button instead of Play. Totally fixed it for me and the game then re-downloaded and installed properly!
