I'd personally prefer it to just shade the hexes blue, but not show any of the building outline. As that would make it a lot easier to see where you're placing it. Then the ground could just show a white arrow in the middle pointing towards the front of the structure.

Yeah that would work too. just something that tells me what the front is haha.

Some times I find it hard to see where I'm placing large structures because the outline of the structure blocks the floor area. I think while placing just showing the hexes it covers would be better. Once placed can show the structure's outline while building the structure.
Though this thread probably should be in #1224760293167599697, hopefully someone at Clockwork Labs will spot it over here.
