The current limit is 500 players.

Currently you can not create a server on your own, if that is your question. It is a closed alpha and there is only one server hosted by Clockwork Labs. This is the server that everyone plays on.

Yes. Especially considering we started with like 250 to 300 people. Back than we had a lot of lag, but the devs did a great job and now we habe 500 with barely any lag. 🙏

afaik this is just testing the limits of a singal "shard" instance, the actual full game would be using multiple of these. (Basically we're stress testing as they optimize servers)
