#Max Frame Rate - NVIDIA - Loud Fan - Max Load Solution?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Set the resolution lower. I have a 4080 and my GPU was absolutely BAKING in this game at 1440p @ 165Hz.
I had to use Riva Statistics Server to set the framerate cap to 60 and the in-game resolution to 1080p.
You should also be able to limit your framerate in the Nvidia panel
I'll try dropping to 1080p. COuld be because I'm running 4k.
Yeah still messing with it and GPU is going mental. I'll try Riva.
Still no luck. Think it improved but my GPU still going on high load and sounding like a jet engine on and off.
Having similar issues with a 2080S, limited FPS to 60 and even on Low settings and 1440p resolution, it still only hits about 50 fps. On high settings it goes to 30. All while the GPU is fully blasting.
Since you are getting quite the different result with a similar card, I am wondering if there is some odd issue with the rendering itself and it is not an optimization issue.
I dont think the game should be this slow to run with its graphics, but I might be wrong.
my gpu is going to the sky too
Where do you do this?
In NVIDIA Control panel program, go to Manage 3D Settings then change Global or Programs Settings. You will see Max Frame Rate option to change FPS. Changing this did not work for me unfortunately.
When you change it in NVIDIA , you have to restart the game. If it still isn't working, update drivers/restart PC.
