Super Excited for the Alpha but am definitely looking to see what competition looks like amongst Clans/Guilds without PVP.

What does group competition look like in Bit Craft?

Are there gameplay mechanics in place stopping 1 group from controlling all the resources?

What does the endgame loop look like to keep players coming back and playing the game?

What are the teams plans for maintaining the player base long term?

"at the Empire scale part of the excitement is its “high risk, high reward” nature. This is one area of the game where full on conflict between players is encouraged." What does this conflict look like if there is no pvp in the game? This is the part that is mainly confusing for me being that since there is no PVP but there is conflict amongst empires how is this conflict settled? Is there a combat system between empires and how do I as a player play into that empire conflict? Whether I am the ruler or a player of one of the empires?

Creating MMORPG Bitcraft video talks more to the systems of settlement/empire gameplay. Can users use the settlement system or individual homestead system to exploit the game if they can not be destroyed? Creating “neutral zones” as buffers?

With the wording of some of the other blog posts I am waiting to see how empire conflict will work with PVP not being a core system of the game. The Civilization building and community aspect seems amazing and something no other MMOs have been able to accomplish successfully. The only other game I would say is close but is still in alpha is Anvil Empires by Siege Camp the guys that make Foxhole. Their Alpha has PVP inside of it though given it is very basic shield wall combat, ranged combat, and settlement siege mechanics. You can't really make a major impact in 1v1 PVP in anvil and most of the fun comes from small group raiding parties and city sieges. No one likes seeing their settlement/base they have put hard work and effort into be burnt to the ground but without a risk and reward I feel that the end game loop of the game will suffer. It definitely seems like a hard task to balance PVP and Non-PVP into a Survival MMO game but if the systems have protections and still offer a fun PVP experience I feel like that will keep the player base healthy and engaged.

The game Could have fishing competition who gets the most fish with more point for rarer fish
In a certain time frame

There Could be a fashion competition with judges or that the whole audience votes on

There could be a hunting competition who comes with the most prey back in a certain amount of time

You lose if you die or get minus some points

Building competition who made the best build or the best build that fits within a theme

Almost all skills can have competitions made inspierd by them if speed, quality, quantity, rarity or style etc.
