#will there be localization in Russian ?

About the localization of the game into other languages, including Russian, it's too early to say.
I'm almost sure and hope that this situation will not affect the attitude towards the Russian community and even more so the emergence of any restrictions.
So yes, it's quite likely that the localization will happen someday.
What does localisation mean?
Is it the same as translation?
Better than translation
Localisation means that some words/texts might be different from original, but they have better meaning in the language you are translating to
I hope I didn't make it too complicated lol
So it s just translation but instead of stupid Google translate word by word it s smart translation
If it is done properly, then yes
I got it thanks
Sometimes it might alter the whole meaning of a text if done wrongly
In simple terms, it is an adaptation of a book/game/movie, etc., to another language.
To do this, as mentioned above, they may change the meaning of the text slightly. But because of this, the text can be "beautiful" and correct.
Also, every language has phrases that do not make sense when translated into another language. For example, in English, the phrase "Piece of cake". To me, who is unfamiliar with the language, this phrase would be understood as just a piece of pie. In fact, the phrase means "a very simple thing".
I hope I explained it correctly.
nice explanation
Good explanation for the difference between translation and localization! 👍
To add some context to our previous announcements regarding localization;
Yes we want BitCraft to be playable in as many languages as possible BUT from a production point of view, it makes only sense to start with loca late into game development.
It is just way faster and more efficient to wait until all the final text has been implemented in English and then translate everything in one go.
