Brand new map for the Experimental branch - Dormant features reveal EVERY cycle - up to cycle 50.

Probably really difficult for some people and really easy for others, who knows? Not me....

Feedback hugely appreciated, this is a work in progress and is likely to evolve.

I am surrounded by Badwater and nearly ran out of food

And the water is too low to grow food

I wish I had a water filter

To filter out the bad water and stuff

I might need to go back into a earlier save and try to salvage it

But I won’t give up until they’re all dead

i'm starting, confused by the first core exploding on the other end of the map, am i supposed to scramble there and rescue the stuff or it's just a tease? It's not connected, tried that already lol

I'm not sure that's confusion, they are the correct questions to be asking. You'd have to be very speedy to get there before the explosion, I'd be super impressed. There are elements of the map design that are there as clues, is this one of them.... or is it misdirection.....

It looks like the Iron Teeth must have been here before, the kits were all found staring at a moving picture on a big bit of white paper hidden in a mine - they'd been messing about with an old drill and everything just kicked into life, blaring out this horrible Iron Tooth music with the odd moving picture thing and a torrent of badwater... The 'librarian' insists that it is meaningful and not all 'slop', we beg to differ...

sort of a test run, but I like it : ) If my extended leave from work continues much longer I'll commit to another big map and the plan is to have all the lore available up front, so that a player doesn't need to look 'under' the map to be able to complete it... It'll need thorough testing, so might give you a shout : )

Thanks oranger, it's great to get feedback. I'm currently 15 hours into someone's stream of the map and there's certainly been a few of those moments.... where did that come from, where did that go.... : )
