I didn't find it strange because children can't build and it wouldn't make sense to have a colony with children

They no longer "died of old age" while in the decontamination pods if the beaver was already over age 40 when it got contaminated

Oh, I did not know that... well, for the (not only) decontamination module, I made a second mod today, which can be used to adjust the needs. A currently contaminated beaver does not have a negative effect over time like others. So this can be fixed and in a few days he is healthy again 😄

I could imagine that only healthy beavers no longer aging ... A sick or injured one, during not being healthy, could age, and, eventually, die if reach the limit age ... And, maybe, an expensive research for that and toggle state for individual beaver to become immortal (could cost science point, and will give a way to justify making science in later stage of the game)
