• yes it is basically Yao's companion quest but for some reason they locked it behind limited event
• at this point Jinhsi is planning to go to the Mt Firmament to commune with Jue since there are no words of him ever since hence the no appearance of that outfit, hell I don't think Devs even think of developing the outfit at this stage since the game is still slowly limping forward since launch
  But other than that, there's not much else to be really invested into 1.2 event. It's meant to be a very quick event despite being time gated smh

To be really blunt,
I feel like the writers went too hard with both Shorekeeper and Camellya being in love with Rover that they didn't let them actually develop as characters and instead let the love angle lift their story.

The difference between those two and Cartethyia or Carlotta is that the latter two actually have their own history, their own arc independent partially of Rover.

Camellya I understand and agree with you, but with Shorekeeper they really put themselves in a hole cause, I can't think of many ways to develop her further since her identity is directly tied to Rover

I get love is the easy way to do it but they should have leaned harder into "Shorekeeper wants to be more human" to truly contrast her and the unfeeling ruthless system.

As in, make SK directly face off the system.

Rather than just Rover rescuing her.
Yeah the scenes were really beautiful but there's no proper build-up.

Granted I get 1.x was super rough because of many MANY circumstances.

So I'm glad thus far 2.x hasn't repeated the same mistakes.

I suppose it also helps that 2.x's quests all tie into the grand narrative of Rinascita.
