The only "real" way to balance things is to implement catchup mechanics to boost the losers or shuffle the teams periodically, which gets in the way of RP.

The biggest problem with the Police vs. gang shootouts is that if they're very unbalanced the side that get stomped can't do fuckall as it's just downtime from then on waiting for the medics to get them back up and doesn't make very good content.

Can even have court cases to settle disputes or defences, and lawyers also try to make money to meet the quota

The issue with this of course is where would the extra money come from to feed the existing circulation/economy if they're not from heists, salary, gambling, etc

one last(?) plot twist to the Bakery Family drama, revealed during asakoyo.

koyori inadvertently caused the last fight between mio and korone, that lead to their divorce. 'cause it was apparently her grenade that sent mio flying off the pier, not one from korone

I see, so that's the context of why Korone ends up in Cabaret with Azki and others during last minutes of server closure.

yeah. mio got sent flying off the pier by koyori's grenade. gets mad, thinking it was a grenade from korone, and went on the attack. but it turns out that korone was granted immortality, so it just ended with mio getting repeatedly beat up in "self defense".
mio then ran off to be with fubuki instead, ultimately divorcing korone and no longer caring about their daughter anymore.

then korone decided to call AZKi for a ride home, and to get married to her now. letting AZKi have her "Yandere End", while korone cheats on her immediately with okayu in the dressing room

So in the end, kanata still struck in the loop of endless suffering

I'd have to say a no on everyone who thinks shooting from inside cars is a good idea, it changes the meta to trying to out-round each other and getting in a lucky headshot through the window, and dismounted people have to consider getting blasted from the side instead of just being run over

that top-side hole is bait, you're silhouetted when you're in a firing position - chopper holds above it at a distance typically to see which exit gang swings for and if gang are nuts enough to evac via chopper

and on the police side watame improved rapidly

speaking of which i could really feel Laplus struggling to communicate to biboo day 2 I believe

she kept trying to tell biboo to radio in it's fine or use her car to get to the scene for the first plane heist since she just died, but in japanese and biboo couldn't understand it at all

was unfortunate timing she was taking biboo too cause she wanted to take biboo to the casino

before she went ot the code red airplane heist only to die due to no seatbelt with biboo in the car

but yeah the struggle is real and it's normal since language is hard, especially if you haven't even tried to passion english much normally

I think that just shows one of the challenges of police in that you have to respond to the heists and in most situations can't play defensively

When Suisei was solo criminal she was able to setup her own conditions and play her own style, but when she was with police she could no longer do that

So kanata talked a bit more from roleplay perspective about how when Kanataso (the daughter) saw fubuki crashing the wedding, she thought it was her fault for calling the director telling about the time and place of the wedding.

The daughter wished that someone in the audience would do something when fubuki showed up, but as time goes by nobody seems to be doing anything

so she build up resolve that if nobody does anything, she would do it herself

She knew that if she shot she would be arrested so she wanted to see the kiss thats why she speedrun the weeding swear

when she saw fubuki bringing out the knife, she reflexively aimed and shot after dying a few times doing konbini robbery herself

it was really out of instinct lol
