oh i got him recently from a cache. I had a game where I got Death down to 1 cost on turn 3 or something and there was cloning lab location, so I played Venom and Death there a few times with Knull in my hand but the opponent retreated before I could play them all in the end

I saw a combo about destroying your own titania and ebony maw with killmonger, cheat knull using waves then arnim zola him on last turn

Even with that combo alone you already have 24 points at 2 lanes

I just realized the deck I've been calling "control" this entire time (lane control) is actually potentially the closest thing Marvel Snap has to aggro

Since the goal is to just claim the lanes as fast as possible

games are usually shorter because the enemy often just retreats

and you need to snap earlier too

Speaking of retreats. Every time I play a junk deck and I fill up all locations, its always the Galactus players that retreat immediately.

Galactus players are all secretly miserable. The card feels bad to play against but I've come to realize it feels even worse to play

Yeah you have to make sure that location you'll be putting the big boi on is winnable

it's also such a demanding combo

you need wave or electro turn 3 and then you need Galactus and THEN you need spiderman or death or knull or something

most of the cubes I earned with the Galactus deck I got through the alternate win conditions in the deck, not actually Galactus

and when the combo does finally work it's worth 2 cubes

Lock down lanes. Most straightforward draw is Daredevil into Storm into Juggernaut into Professor X or Spiderman

But without perfect draws you usually have other tricks

Like lock down one lane with X and then use Juggernaut to win one of the last 2

Jeff helps by significantly expanding your ability to win a locked down lane

Negasonic could be great there as well

I recently met some negasonic into x players

It’s definitely a deck that plays very differently depending on the opponent’s deck and the locations

It struggles a lot against patriot

But it’s good against Galactus decks, Sandman/Electro decks, and any turn 6 combo decks
