it does give you some information as to what kind of deck your opponent is playing if you don't destroy something like America Chavez

but it's as likely to destroy a combo piece as it is to dig up the combo piece so your opponent gets it in time

so it's not disruptive against most decks

i think Adam Warlock and Lockjaw are the only 2 exceptions I can think of

I think the difference between apoc and hela gameplan is

You want to spam discard as early as possible for apoc

While hela doesn't want you to overdiscard and cutting her

Your chance of having 1 specific card you want turn 6 is 75% usually, and 72.73% with chavez

But your chance of getting a card you want on all 5 previous turns is also improved

Turn 1 is 33.3% usually and turns into 36.4% with chavez

And the difference is larger with every passing turn

Turn 5 is 66.7% to 72.7%

When you add chavez

If your combo deck does pretty much anything important in the first 5 turns, like get an adam warlock out, then Chavez is still good

And although she does disrupt turn 6 combos, she does it in the nicest way possible by giving you an entire extra turn to retreat or seek an alternate win condition since you know whether your combo is disrupted at the start of turn 5

but if you don't get it until t5 then you better accept that the combo might fail

My dino gameplan is usually get prio early with max/white Queen to prof x later. But if you met shuri it's better to just maintain priority for turn 6 and shang their ass
