Secondly ||apho mei is basically an older more mature version of “pre lament of the fallen” Mei. So if you played apho 1 before chapter nagazora you would think nothing of it as she’s still the same personality||

||thus once you finally get to the climax of nagazora arc, you’re blindsided by how much Mei has changed. And for us who played apho 1, we’re watching mei’s development knowing that she’ll eventually becomes less harsh||
