I know complaining about matchmaking is the most common things people complain about with this game. But I was so genuinely baffled with the lobby I was put in yesterday that I wanted to just talk about. I solo queued trios and got 2 master rank 4K badge 20 bomb badge teammates. Nice free win!
In comparison im a pretty bang average player. 1.09 kd this season 1.54 lifetime. Never got out of gold rank.
Champion squad was these 2 guys also.
We landed later than what a sweaty team normally would. Didn’t find anyone for a while. (Storm point). All of a sudden we saw a team charging at us. Like full on sprinting towards us. It was over instantly. Absolutely destroyed us. Like in about 5 seconds.
3 stack master rank. Same badges as teammates.
I like to spectate good players to get tips but they literally died to the next team. Again: 4K damage badges and 20 bombs for the entire team. So that’s 3 teams now with these badges. As the game goes on I look at the players remaining and there are only literally 4 teams left. Before the second circle closed. On storm point.
The team that killed the 3 stack then got killed by a 3 stack predator squad. At this point I am just not understanding why I was put in this lobby. This was not a typical lobby with like 50% plats and a handful of diamonds. This was a literal esports lobby. That consisted of 50% masters and preds and 50% average joes like me. Absolutely asinine. The game was over on storm point before the 4th circle closed in. Absolute madness. I just couldn’t believe what I was involved with. Final team had 26 kills between the 3 of them.
