can’t decorate mocas house

i got closer with moca in january, talk to him every day, never got the bonsai quest(unless it’s the one i’ve attached, but that was only just after i started playing), not sure what to do. i can’t decorate mocas house still.

he shushes me all the time when i’m talking to him working on his tree

i thought i must be bothering him and maybe that was why it never progressed

Okay so I searched it on the wiki

And the newspaper the game thinks you havent completed

Is the one that unlocks his house

Wtf

So the game basically thinks you dont have access to his house

And that’s probably why you can’t deco

Im not 100% certain though

I havent gotten the last newspaper. Its been a while since the second one appeared and I am now at 82% friendship. But moca still havent asked me to decorate

the solution for me was to interact with him every day for 35 days

There is no progress bar for knowing when you so decorate. The achievements though will show how close if a friendship you are with Moca

yeah you just track it urself and see when the newspaper comes, keep at it
