What is the bug..? The items all unlock on the last day of the event. The countdown is on top of the calendar

Huh. Nope, should be the whole of last day starting at midnight UTC time, I think.
Time left for Event was probably 2 days X hours Y min, which got rounded off for display purpose (due to lack of space on the bulletin board - whatever logic is coded) to 2 days.
BTW, it still shows 2 days right now on the bulletin board, around 10h after you first posted. So, it's just the event time display logic.
