This week characters started showing at more than one place at a time.
E.g. I see Paige at Momo’s; from there, I go to the bar and she’s there. Then I go to the pier, same thing. This is happening with her, Chi, Momo, Pipi, and others.
Also, I open the game and Tsuki is making flower crowns with Pipi at the farm. I go home, and there they are; then I go to the shop, same thing.
IOW, the animation remains the same for a few places in a row.

This is not a bug and is normal behaviour
The animations only change if tsuki is obscured by some moved furniture
Or if 10minutes pass iirc

With what you’re describing it should 100% be the case though
Tsuki has some animations with other characters
And since ur not going into edit mode and forcing tsuki to change animations
Tsuki just keeps doing the same animations everywhere he goes
Making it seem like the characters are following you
