Post here your suggestions for the decorating mode 🔨 reworks

#

I'll add below changes/additions I've seen mentioned in the old suggestions channel:
.

Add an 'undo' button to revert change(s) done to a layout

#

.

Add option to save different layouts (to change between standard and event/holiday deco, or switch between your favorite deco styles)

#

.

Add button to toggle view between how the layout looked before the current editing session vs right now (for a quick, easy access 'before and after' effect)

#

.

Add the ability to rotate a piece of furniture before placing it (for betterment of qol in cramped spaces)

Have furniture shaped like this for the grid (pls excuse my awful drawing attempt).

i send this idea on many ways hehe,
now i bring it again with examples.

I had already sent my idea for Tsuki Odyssey some times here on Discord and 2 times by email.

In this time i put my idea in images.

It is about a system to save the decorations, in case we want to return to any of them and be able to save them and choose them whenever we want.

Have a button to toggle the bag menu, so we can have a better view while rearranging stuff (kinda like this poorly edited pic)
also, the option to zoom in and out in decorating mode would be really nice

im not seeing a separate post for grid adjustments, so i guess i'll add here? would adding two spots in yellow on the pic be a big issue? medium christmas tree would fit so nicely in front of the window..

Adding to the Saved Layout for houses:

Secondary optional mechanic: we start off with a small amount of saved layout slots, and we can buy more with an item (like the hoes, scythes and bags mechanics) that sells at Yori's. HC could give you a few extra slots too.

I like changing my house for every season, but it pains my heart to loose some cool layouts

#

And also:

The orbs themselves could work to give one extra slot each or something? Since they are already linked with the hoe/scythe/bag, add the Layout Slot into the jam

The planners to save the layouts would need a progression system

#

Since the obsidian orbs specifically boost obsidian items

Add that one square that's missing

I have a smaller phone screen and and an having a lot of overlap issues when decorating. It's be nice to have 1) directional buttons to adjust things by one square at a time. And 2) instead of something that's already placed going back in the bag if I accidentally place it in the same square where another object is placed, it goes back to the spot where it was originally

# cerulean wolf or add it on the other side, there’s a decor that’s 5x1 and I can’t use it on bo...

If you mean the three spots on the opposite side of the message you replied to, I agree lol.

Also maybe some of the spots in front of the treehouse, like every place except where Olson and Draper stand (and in front of them, facing the doorway/entrance).

Not sure if this was suggested, at the very least I couldn’t find any for it, but maybe fill in the gap from the small parts of the farm and the main part? Like there can be a bolded line on the grid to indicate the separation, but it’d be nice to place stuff there. Same with behind the tree on the far right of the main part of the farm. (Maybe even the bit outside the fencing of the farm on the far left?)

Hello! This is something I’ve been thinking about for awhile.

As someone who really likes to have kind of a “home base” look for my treehouse, but also wants to rearrange for events or holidays, I think it would be nice to have something along the lines of preset slots.

Or even at the very least a setup for “default” where I can meticulously place everything, and then set the default.

Being able to decorate these inside walls for the homecoming house. Also a toggleable grid for walls would be awesome. Especially for big walls like in Chi's house.
