Pirate Quest potential bug

Hi my gf is playing this on my steam deck, she is doing the pirate missions and on the one in the snow the pirates are just standing still, not turning or dancing, is this a bug or is she doing something wrong? Sorry for lack of info but I've not played the game so can only go by what she's saying

if she doesn't mind spoilers, here's the shrine location:

after it's fixed, the pirates should be dancing as normal
