Tell me of a time in Chinese history that strikes you the most?
Mine would have been the most novelized Fall of the Eastern Han dynasty, which takes place in the middle of the 180s AD decade that lasted as long as 35 years, and which saw the declining Chinese empire fragment into multiple warlords that in decades ushered into the fabled Three Kingdoms period. This period struck me the most ever since I've encountered their games and watched a number of media about it.
That time is followed by the honorably mentioned Three Kingdoms, Sixteen Kingdoms, the Taiping Rebellion, and the Xinhai Revolution and it's consequences.
