If you try to install new versions of mods like Sodium Lunar force installs old versions of the mods onto my game. It makes duplicate files of sodium, iris shaders, and others. This should not be a feature entirely or just make it so that you can disable this so that it does not happen again. Many people have had problems with this in community support and currently I have found no real fix other than to play without my custom mods.

maybe because this version of sudiom is the one the best compatibility?
maybe the latest version doesnt really work with lunar injections
Nope
Whenever i launch and it makes a duplicate file
Then it tells me i need a new version of it
yes because you are not supposed to download it by yourself
lunar uses the version that they think its the best for them
just dont install sodium or the other mods they install along with lunar
Yes i know
When i launch my game and let lunar install them for me. It tells me i need a newer version, then when i update it and i launch again it installs the old version
A loop of endless downgrading and updating
the mod menu mod is the one that tells you to install the newer version of sodium not lunar*
its just conflicting
I see
You can make a separate lunar profile
It won’t install any mods for you
Omg I didn't even know that exist
Well that fix the problem but still auto download back sodium is annoying bug
I don't think a separate Lunar profile will download Sodium for you
We are already working on a solution for this
