Can there be a feature in overlay mod to hide the fire overlay if you have fire resistance or creative, like the mod 'why am I on fire?' Pvpclub already does this, but on other servers when I am playing diamond smp, its really annoying when the fire is in my eyes.

to fix this, i had to download a shifty mod which probably installed a virus
and it would be way more convenient to be able to just have a lunar feature

I think you should just have low fire on in general
You can easily tell that your on fire since low fire doesnt completely remove it and theres fluxtuations in fire height from different texture packs for you to chose from + screen shake.
There are reliable sites to download said texture packs from, no mod needed.
