#Remove the annoying auto installed mods for fabric
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
The auto installed mods like sodium conflict with newest sodium when users install newest manually - unaware of the auto install "feature" which causes a lot of crashes
Also mods sometimes don't get deleted from the actual mods folder, like in the case of 2 sodium's conflicting, you delete either, they go from the mod menu in lunar, but not the actual mods folder
i dont think you can "remove" them at the moment, you can just disable the old one for now
it is a known issue but i will for sure be improved in the near future
It's a suggestion to remove the feature altogether or make it an option
i believe the way lunar handles those preinstalled mods will be better in the future since people complain about it a lot
Hopefully
Also mods sometimes don't get deleted from the actual mods folder,
those are just the preinstalled mods
Apparently even an agent doesn't know why it's there
as what i said if you want to use a newer version of sodium
just disable the old one
No, I implied the manually installed mods
for example 0.8.2
And the dupes
Shouldn't be an issue in the first place
that's becasue they are preinstalled mods, and it will always installed some older versions if lunar doesn't bump them up
Yeah that shouldn't be a thing
yeah sometimes it is problematic but issue like this has been suggested a lot so it will likely get better soon
