Bring back Badlion, plesae.

Hi, my real name is Love and i’ve been playing Minecraft with Lunar Client for years. I’ve even spent a lot of money on Lunar. And i really liked it. But late 2024 i decided to try something else. Badlion, and im not gonna lie, I enjoyed playing on it more. The reason wasn’t that it had more mods or had more cosmetics. The reason was that it actually could run on my pc. I have a mini pc with integrated graphics and Badlion really made the game runnable for me. Without them i would probably not be playing minecraft anymore.

It really breaks my heart when yall are literally killing badlion and forcing the competition to switch and use the lunar launcher. Why? Why does everything need to be about money. You buy the better launcher and just kills it.. I’ve tried Lunar Client many times and my pc can simple not run it. Even the normal minecraft launcher itself gets way more Fps. And yes, ive tried to use badlion via the lunar launcher but, its not close to the same. The fps is way lower then the og badlion and plus the fact when im using badlion via lunar launcher it’s lagging so much. Like it skips like half of all frames and making it totally unplayable for me.

And dont say its me… Its really not. Yes i have a potato pc but when i run badlion its totally fine. But Lunar simply just doesn't work for me. And saying that yall implemented all the optimization tweaks from badlion doesnt seem to help. Maybe try to actually optimize the client itself instead of just adding more and more bloat for every single update. Or just the fact that the launcher needs to be running to play minecraft, and it constantly runs while its bloated with a ton of ads. Or the fact that the holy launchedr itself is full of bloat and unnecessary stuff. And if yall think all this bloat is so important maybe try to optimize it a little bit?

And lets not forget about the debug window that get opens every time you try to launch the game. Slowing up the process even more and has more ad that runs in the background while you’re trying to play the game.

I'm going to ask this as kindly as possible, please please bring back the og Badlion. I’m not asking for any updates or anything, just release it publicly and maybe even opensource it. Really, please. No effort needed at all, just release the og Badlion. And I understand that this is a really hard decision between money and the community, but really please. And in my understanding Lunar Client is focusing into the newer versions of the game. There’s no competition there at all, badlion sucks at the newer versions. And as its not going to get any updates so Lunar got close to no competition. It really doesnt make sense to yall to not release it, 1.8.9 is slowly dying and as of right now, yall are one of the biggest reason why.

Please at least think about it, it wont affect you and will bring yall so much respect from the 1.8.9 community.
