there was a flatpak package but i wasn't sure if it was the real one
then from the bot i realized now that it is
do /appimage2 @sick chasm
i did
if they say its not ig not
i'm almost certain the package is unofficial though
the discord bot and client developers are separate teams
ye thats why i was afraid
there's a chance that there was miscommunication or no communication about this at all
ye but still for them to get the info they devs has to say it
don't know that for sure
also it has been years since this bot came
or it could be that this is another flatpak and the one i saw is unofficial
ye ig lets see what the staff has to say
doubt staff know
ye ik man thats what i said the real lunar might be hidden
fair enough
it was hard af to get somone to get lunar in ubuntu
the appimage is easy to use no?
ye it is but kinda hard if you don't know what your doing
cuz i learnt it the hard way and had to use smth called a arch user repository
it works fine but alot of distros donot have this so
could be rlly useful in #📋︱community-support
most distros should be capable of running appimagelauncher
heard some distros may integrate it into the system by default too
ye they should the thing is users think everything is easy
okay
like a guy who installed ubuntu for performance
ubuntu is like the most beginner-friendly os, has full support for appimages
ye
just like all modern distros
anyways he still messed up xD
i dont get why it would be hard to run one then?
from my 3 weeks of linux for me i have to convert the app image to a exe
not exe i meant to make ti run i had to do smth to run it
fair
chmod smth
chmod +x LunarClient.appimage
had to gpt it
makes it executable
anyways now i am having a fine experience except for the fact i have to update it manually using yay -Sua
it doesnot do it auto and i don't wanna fix it
i always thought that was chatmod
i feel like we've gotten way out of topic lol
yo roxe
yo
u can change ur nick now btw
k
As top 2 helper i think i should have added the "ig"
