#Reduce App Cooldown

I understand the importance of maintaining high standards when selecting candidates, and I respect the evaluation process. However, I wanted to provide some feedback regarding the current two-month cooldown period for unsuccessful applications.

While I understand that a cooldown is necessary to prevent spam applications, I believe that a reduction from two months to one or two weeks would be more reasonable. A shorter cooldown would allow dedicated applicants to improve their qualifications based on feedback and reapply without having to wait an excessive amount of time. Many applicants may simply need to refine their responses or gain a bit more experience, and a two-month delay can discourage them from trying again.

Implementing a shorter cooldown would encourage more qualified and motivated individuals to continue striving for a position on the team while still preventing excessive reapplications. Thank you for taking the time to consider this suggestion.

Pretty sure you are welcome to reapply if you don’t receive a message within 4-5 weeks

# bright garden why would they

yeah theres no reason for them to... but using context clues you could understand that im responding to the OP's suggestion, where they say that the application cooldown should be shorter because it would allow "allow dedicated applicants to improve their qualifications based on feedback"

you're looking at it completely wrong, way too wrong, it's mostly randoms or people from other chats who also apply, but mostly the people with a clean history are accepted, there are of course exceptions, but I can't tell you anything that I know about the apps because I shouldn't really have this knowledge, anyways once an ex tester said what I'll send you now in the DMs will stay between us because I don't want the person to get into trouble

peepoSax and actvity is not always the case

just prev chatmods who got kicked after long long long time being inactive

You all shouldn't really be creating different emails to bypass the cooldown on applications. If you get to the interview stage, you will be contacted by an admin within 4 weeks. If not, you can consider yourself declined and reapply if you wish. I'm not sure how many apps come through but I'd assume there is a fair few. 1 month is also the standard wait period with servers/companies this big from my experience.
