Adding own Mods/Mod Packs

Hey,

I know this has been suggested a few times before but without any more information and ideas to do it. And i got a few of ideas i would like to share.

Mod Packs
A feature to add own mod packs would improve lunar client so much cause you could replace things like the forge app for example.
And this feature is basically already implemented inside the client with the current version of the preset mod packs.
(And if we are honest people are adding downloaded mods inside the folders and load them with the current mod packs so i don't understand why there is not a feature to do it way more simple tbh)

My idea to implement it inside lunar:
Add a "Create Custom Profile" inside the mods Modpacks tab. Then generate a default version of it and let the user customize it or let a user directly download it from modrinth via a link and version. If that is done a user could have a overview of all mods inside the mod pack and configure the mods disable or enable them etc just like the ones in the current version of it.

Mod Folder
I think a default mod folder would be a cool addition to it aswell. Its just located inside the .lunarclient folder and when a user drops the files inside it the user can chose the mod loader inside the versions tab then select the version he wants to start.

(I know this is probably just getting the usual this has already been suggested message but i wanted to share it anyways)

if you just want to use the cit function you could easily add a mod called "citresewn" to a already existing mod pack disable all other mods except fabric api and you are good to go

alright, im sorry, but im gonna need a step by step explanation
im not the smartest of people and this confuses me

3. its more like a i wanna share my idea of how the devs could implement it in a very simple way (i am a developer and i know how fucked up it can get when i do not have enough ides so i thought it could help to share it)

there are some youtube videos for that

but here is it in my words:

1. Open the Modpacks section
2. Download your version (The MC Version you want to play in)
3. Press the View Mods button
4. Press the blue folder on the top its called Open Mods Folder
5. Download the mod you want to add
6. Drag and drop it inside the folder you opened earlier
7. Disable all other mods you don't want to use except the fabric api one
8. Launch your game and you are done

for that you need to wait for one of the existing mod packs to update or another mod pack releases with that version

you don't necessarily need to add your mods to a modpack, try that discord command for a guide
