Before doing all the stuff lunch the oldest version that'll work for you
Step 1. Set render distance to 1
Step 2. Set every setting that you can to off
Step 3. Disable shaders
Step 4. Install the best mod pack you can find for optimization
Step 5. Enjoy your awful minecraft
