Add a way to sync your Minecraft configuration between multiple computers.
This could be a really useful addition because it would allow Lunar Client users to sync their video settings, control settings and more between their laptop, desktop, etc.
It would also make it easier for people fresh installing or upgrading to a new PC to have the same settings as they had before.

You can easily do that by cloning the ~/.lunarclient directory to the new pc, along with the ~\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\options.txt file
of course
i think the feature would be a nice-to-have. especially if you use multiple devices to play Minecraft. copying your files over every time is a bit of an inconvenience to those users.
many other software incl google chrome, brave, firefox, and vs code have options to sync your settings
I agree, and think its a cool idea. But realisticly it'd take a lot of work from the dev side and might even have privacy conerns as they'd have to store pretty much all that data on their own servers.
.
Though this does give me a cool idea for a coding project i might make
A standalone gui app that can be used to sync your lunar/minecraft settings would be a cool project to code
.
Instead of a syncing feature maybe a simple, import/export feature would be great, like those you'd see on custom mc clients like prism, multimc, or curseforge.
yeahh i think it would take a lot of developer resources that could be spent elsewhere. i don't think config files is too much of a privacy concern since theres little personal information, however im not a lawyer obviously
Depends on the files, it can house "private" data, such as server ips, it'd need to store your account information, most likely your ip too, and all that jazz
that would certainly be easier to implement, and they don't need to worry about storing data on servers or any other authentication. would obviously be a compromise but it's a nice to have
i did not think of that!
Mmmhm i think if they where to do it this would be the best way to go about it
I will say, if they decide to add propper "syncing" it would most likely be tied to lunar+ i'd imagine @uneven flame
