Right now if you want to change your skin through the Client, you need to input a username or a skin image link, there is no option to choose a skin from your files. Meaning you either need to get you skin image link somehow (If you made your own skin) or go through the process of doing it in the Minecraft launcher. It would be much easier to have an option to choose a skin file from your desktop.
