After receiving help from the community this bug is solved. A work-a-round has been found.
The Issue:
After the most recent update to Fortnite, and UEFN; I started receiving an error on a project i was working on. The error i get can be found in the image.
The error states that the project is using version 37.51 of UEFN. From my research version 37.51 does not officially exist in the public domain, and 37.50 is the most recent version of UEFN.
In my attempts to remedy this issue i tried:
- Verifying UEFN, and Fortnite Download Files.
- Reinstall of UEFN, and Fortnite Files.
- Cache Clearing, and Full clean reinstall of UEFN, and Fortnite in a new directory.
None of these solutions fixed the problem.
The working solution for this problem is:
- Navigate to your project files
[projectname].uefnprojectand edit the file. - Change the
"compatibilityVersion"to the correct or current version of your UEFN Editor. - Save and Close.
Im unsure how to reproduce this issue. I have no idea how my project upgraded to a version of UEFN unavailable to the public, when my editor version did not match.
